About me
My name is Jenna, also known as Priestess Binah of Tikkun Olam.
I am a Skydancer Priestess of the Mt. Shasta Goddess Temple, under the mentorship of Priestess Yeshe Mathews.
I hold a Master’s Degree in English Composition and Rhetoric, and previously taught Academic Writing & Critical Thinking and Women’s Literature as an Associate Professor of English at a community college.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, a seventh-generation Californian, I discovered my true calling and a deep reverence for the cyclic rhythms inherent in the world around me after moving to the Pacific Northwest in 2013, where I became devoted to the Wheel of the Year and nature-based ritual practices.
During that time I also cultivated a repertoire of multi-media based artistic skills. I took classes in 2 & 3 Dimensional Design, Color Theory, and Art History, and initiated countless projects of all shapes and sizes, primarily by upcycling objects that I purchased from secondhand stores or found discarded by their previous owners.
Braga, Portugal, has been my home since 2023.
Throughout my life, I have studied and and practiced the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda, Christianity within the Roman Catholic Church, and Reform Judaism. These experiences have provided me a vast and complex understanding of the myriad of ways humans understand and experience The Divine.
Binah Blessings endeavors to bring together all of the knowledge, skills, teaching, stories, and passions I have nurtured and created throughout my life, along with whatever wisdom (the Hebrew definition of Binah) I may-or may not-have at this juncture in my life. The most profound lesson I’ve learned thus far is that there is still so much more to know, and my heart is open to it all.
It is my prayer that you may find comfort, inspiration, curiosity, humor, and new ways of seeing the ordinary and experiencing the extraordinary within this space.
But more than anything, I hope it opens a portal through which you might more fully discover and embrace your own inherent Grace.
